The world of working Dutch Shepherds is about much more than the breed’s striking brindle coat, athletic ability, and versatility. For those who appreciate the Dutch Shepherd as a serious working and sport dog, the DVG America National Championship is an event worth knowing about.

At elite international events such as the WDSF World Championship, the qualities of the Dutch Shepherd are on full display. These competitions bring together top working dogs and handlers from around the world, highlighting advanced skill, control, and athleticism.

“Holland Messi v. Le Dobry was not just a competitor—he was a two-time world champion and one of the very few Dutch Shepherds to defeat the dominant Malinois lines at the highest level of IGP sport.”
