The Dutch Shepherd: A versatile working breed
The World Championship is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the qualities that make the Dutch Shepherd such a remarkable breed.
Whether competing in IGP, Mondioring or Obedience, these disciplines require much more than training exercises. They demand concentration, confidence, control, athletic ability and, above all, a strong partnership between dog and handler.
Behind every competition performance are countless hours of preparation, patience, teamwork and dedication.
Not every competitor finishes on the podium, but every handler and dog who steps onto the competition field represents the commitment and passion that keep our breed moving forward.
We congratulate every participant for representing their countries and contributing to the international presence of the Dutch Shepherd.
A celebration of international friendship and the Dutch Shepherd community
For SKNIO, this championship represented much more than medals and competition results.
It was an opportunity to bring people together across national borders, build friendships and celebrate a shared passion for the Dutch Shepherd.
We also recognize the organizers, volunteers, judges, partners and supporters whose work made this international championship possible.
Their commitment helps create opportunities for Dutch Shepherds and their handlers to demonstrate the breed's abilities on the world stage.
Different countries. Different disciplines. One breed. One international community.
